Designing a Bold, Space-Themed Brand Identity for a Cannabis Cartridge Company

Nebulous worked with the MedMarketers team on branding, logo design, and visual identity development. The MedMarketers team delivered an exciting, ready-to-launch brand designed to stand out across all marketing and sales channels.

Nebulous is a cannabis cartridge brand targeting a younger audience, primarily consumers between 21 and 30 years old. The company needed a bold, memorable brand identity to support the launch of its line of THC disposable cartridges, which includes sativa, indica, and hybrid options. The target demographic leaned male, with products positioned at the mid to low price point on dispensary shelves. Nebulous wanted visuals that would help it stand out in a crowded market, while clearly differentiating product types through design.

 

The MedMarketers team partnered with Nebulous to define and execute a brand strategy built around a space theme. The name itself — Nebulous — evokes the imagery of clouds, haze, and space, which became the foundation for the brand’s look and feel. Our team began with logo concepting and overall visual identity development, using inspiration from space colors and nebula imagery. The primary logo color was designed in a rich, vibrant purple that conveyed both energy and a connection to the space theme. The choice of purple also created flexibility to pair warm and cool colors with the packaging to signal the sativa, indica, and hybrid product variations. 

Our deliverable included a basic but highly usable brand guide. The guide featured logo variations in both color and black-and-white versions to ensure versatility across packaging, digital assets, and print materials. We also provided a cohesive color palette, with defined primary and secondary colors, as well as typography recommendations that matched the futuristic, approachable tone of the brand. These assets gave Nebulous the tools it needed to launch with confidence across all marketing and sales channels.

Throughout the project, the MedMarketers team prioritized balancing visual excitement with functional design. The goal was to create a brand identity that would not only look great on packaging and digital platforms but also help Nebulous build consumer trust at the point of sale. The clean, space-inspired visuals made the cartridges pop on dispensary shelves and allowed for easy product recognition between the different strain types.

The end result was a bold, modern brand identity that helped Nebulous make an immediate impression in the cannabis market. The brand’s visual system was designed to support scalability, making it easy for Nebulous to extend the look and feel into future product lines, campaigns, and promotional materials.
